RUTH PIKSA MEMORIAL AWARD
An award established in the memory of the late Past President Ruth Piksa. A Cash award of $50.00 (US) and a trophy will go to the most versatile student on a fretted instrument based on contest placement in the chosen divisions that the student enters.

WALTER TRUSZKOWSKI
MEMORIAL AWARD
An award to honor the late, Wally Trusk who was past president, convention orchestra director, and convention manager in the 70's. This $100.00 (US) cash award will be given to the winner of the Non-Piano North American Open Concerto Championship Division. (Strings, Band Instruments and Guitar) |

ELMER HERRICK MEMORIAL AWARD
A memorial to honor the memory of Elmer Herrick, past president to be presented to an author of an essay titled "What Music Means to Me." This essay should be at least 25 words in length. Entries are limited to those attending the National contest and must be submitted at the National contest. A $50.00 cash award will be presented to winning essay. Winner will be selected from the essays. |

MYRTLE ROBERTSON MEMORIAL AWARD
A $50.00 (US) cash award is given to an author of an essay entitled "What Teaching Means to Me."in honor of Myrtle who was a past president and member for over 50 years. This essay should be at least 50 words in length. Essays are limited to the students enrolled in the cadet teacher course and are limited to those attending the National contest and must be submitted at the National contest. Winner will be selected from the essays.

MARK PEEL MEMORIAL AWARD
The Mark Peel award was established 20 years ago to honor past president, Mark Peel. All plectrum guitar students are eligible for this award regardless of length of study. The recipient of the memorial plaque and $50.00 (US) is selected by results based on contest placement of the chosen events that the student enters.

LOUISE CROCCI MEMORIAL AWARD
The family and students of Louise Crocci have formed the Louise Crocci Memorial Award. This $50.00
(US) award will be given to the student who receives the highest score in the level 10 theory test. In event of a tie, the tied contestants will be asked a tie breaker question.

GEORGE AND BERTHA OSIUS AWARD
This $50.00 (US) cash award is given to the Piano North American Invitational Champion for use toward accomplishing the goals of the American Guild of Music and the advancement of musical talent throughout North America. This is award is given by immediate past presdient, George Osius.

DONN O’BRIEN AWARD
A $50.00 (US) cash award will be given to the best drummers in the NAIC division. A cash award will be given the the winner of the Snare Drum and Drum Set NAIC divisions. This is award is given by Donn O'Brien, past president.

GLENN LECLAIR MEMORIAL AWARD
An award to honor the late, Glenn LeClair. This $100.00 (US) cash award will be given to the winner of the Piano
North American Open Concerto Championship
Division.
